Securing the Open Chiplet Ecosystem Defining a Common Security Architecture for FCSA
Dominic Brown, Senior Principal Engineer, Arm
Sylvain Guilley, CTO, Secure-IC
As chiplet-based systems become increasingly heterogeneous and multi-vendor, security must evolve beyond individual devices to address trust across the entire system. Open chiplet ecosystems introduce new challenges around device identity, secure communication, attestation, lifecycle management, and supply-chain assurance.
This session presents joint work between Arm and Cadence to develop a security architecture for the Foundation Chiplet System Architecture (FCSA). The work aims to establish a common framework for security in interoperable chiplet-based systems while preserving implementation flexibility and vendor differentiation.
Attendees will gain insight into the architectural principles being developed within the FCSA, and the session will also discuss how standards-based approaches can improve trust, simplify integration, and accelerate adoption of open chiplet ecosystems.
