Silicon Box Ships 1 Billion Units, 2 Billion Year-End Production Target

Shipment spans customers from AI and high-performance computing to mobile, robotics and space technology.

SINGAPORE --  October 2, 2026 – Silicon Box, a leader in chiplet integration and advanced packaging for semiconductors, has shipped more than 1 billion units from its flagship panel-level packaging factory in Singapore, a tenfold increase since passing 100 million units in October last year. The company projects 2 billion units shipped by end of 2026, reflecting strong capacity demand and bookings across customer segments spanning AI, automotive, space program, robotics, and mobile.

“We ramped revenue and production volume by ten times in the past twelve months at our Singapore factory, all while maintaining industry-beating yield in advanced, panel-level packaging,” shared Dr. Byung Joon (BJ) Han, co-founder and CEO of Silicon Box.  “This achievement is a testament to our cutting-edge technology and the hard work of all teams at Silicon Box. We are scaling advanced packaging at panel scale in Singapore and beyond to Italy.”

Silicon Box’s $300 million capacity expansion at the Singapore site in the Tampines Wafer Park, which began in May, is proceeding as planned. Full capacity installation at the Singapore plant is expected by 2028. The company expects to double its workforce through 2026 and is currently on track to meet this hiring goal.
